Goodbye

I started my Medium blog in 2020. I was stuck at home, bored, and wanted an excuse reflect and process all the things happening my life: covid, crypto, career musings.

I wrote purely as a form of reflection and entertainment. No one read what I was writing.

In 2021, I started a 30-day challenge where I would write whatever was on my mind. It started off as ramblings about music and anime, but gradually solidified around crypto: NFTs, DAOs, and other relevant third-letter acronyms.

I stopped writing on Medium after that 30-day challenge — admittedly burnt out from the daily slog of churning out 500-word essays.

However over the years, I always turned back to Medium as a place for me to voice my thoughts. For me, writing is peace, a second version of myself that mulls over things more calmly and always with valuable insights. Sure — at times I’ll get busy with work or travel or other hobbies and pursuits, but writing will always be there for me.

But today, I’m saying goodbye to my Medium. Instead, I’m moving to Substack — in the off-chance that people are still interesting in what I’m writing and we can create a little community. If you’re reading this, please join me there :)
